Aloo Cutlet


Potato – ¼ Kg

Oil- 50 Ml

Ginger and Garlic paste- 1 teaspoon

Salt – ½  teaspoon

Chilli Powder- ½  teaspoon

Green Chilli (finely chopped) – 2 No.s

Garam Masala – ½  teaspoon

Cumin Powder (Jeera powder) – ½  teaspoon

Coriander Leaves

Bread Crumbs – 1 bowl (100 gms)

Egg – 1No.

Method of Preparation

Step 1 – Boil the potatoes.

Step 2 – After boiling the potatoes, keep the potatoes aside for half an hour to bring the potatoes to room temperature.

Step 3 – After the boiled potatoes cool down, peel out the potatoes and mash the potatoes.

Step 4 – Add the ginger and garlic paste, chilli powder, finely chopped chillies, garam masala, jeera powder, and salt to the mashed potatoes.

Step 5 – Mix the mixture properly.

Step 6 – Beat the egg aside in a bowl to soak the mixture into it.

Step 7 – Make patties out of the mixture tightly.

Step 8 – Dip the patties into the egg and pat some bread crumbs on it.

Step 9 – Heat the oil in a medium flame.

Step 10 – After the oil gets warmed, fry the patties.

Garnish the cutlet with Coriander and your Aloo cutlet is ready!
