Eggless Cake


Maida – ½ Cup

Sugar – 1 Cup

Vegetable Oil – ¾ Cup

Baking Soda – 1 tbsp

Baking Powder – 1 tbsp

Curd – ¾ Cup

Method of Preparation

Step 1 – Add vegetable oil, curd, sugar, maida, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl and mix it well until the dough becomes thick.

Step 2 – Fill Salt or Sand in the bottom of cooker.

Step 3 – Place the mixture bowl on the top of sand or salt filler in cooker.

Step 4 – Close the lid of the cooker and keep it for cooking for 40 minutes (Without whistle).

Step 5 – After cooking it for 40 minutes, check with a stick whether the dough is baked or not. If not cooked, keep cooking for another 10 minutes.

Step 6 – After the cake is cooked, Garnish with cashew nuts and raisins.
