Carrot Halwa


Grated Carrot – 250 gms

Sugar – 150 gms

Ghee – 100 gms

Milk – 250 Ml

Cardamom Powder (Elaichi) – ¼ teaspoon

Cashew Nuts – 25 gms

Method of Preparation

Step 1 – Heat the 50 Ml of Ghee in a pan, Shallow fry cashew nut in it and keep it aside in a bowl.

Step 2 – Saute Grated Carrot in ghee in a pan in a medium flame.

Step 3 – Add boiled milk to Sauted Carrot and cook it till the Carrot is cooked.

Step 4 – Add sugar and cardamom to it and mix it well. And Switch off the flame.

Step 5 – Pour the remaining 50 Ml of Ghee and cashew nut to the mixture.

Step 6 – Keep it aside till the Carrot Halwa cools down.

And your carrot halwa is ready!
