Lemon Poha

Ingredients

Poha (flattened rice) – ½ Kg

Vegetable oil – 200 ml

Mustard seeds – 2 spoons

Ground nuts – 3 spoons

Urad dal – 1 spoon

Gram Dal – 3 spoons

Green Chilli – 6-7 No.s

Curry leaves – 4 sticks.

Lemon – 1 No.

Salt – 1 ½ spoons

Turmeric Powder – ½ spoon

Big sized Onion – 3 No.s

Tomatoes – 2 No.s

Grated Coconut – ½ coconut.

Method of Preparation

Step 1 – Soak poha for ½ an hour.

Step 2 – Take a fry pan and heat it. Add oil, mustard, gram dal, urad dal and ground nuts to it and roast it.

Step 3 – Now add the chopped onions, green chilli and curry leaves, then shallow fry it.

Step 4 – Add grated coconut and again fry it.

Step 5 – Add chopped tomatoes, salt, turmeric and soaked poha to it and fry it.

Step 6 – Now squeeze the lemon to it and add curry leaves to it.

Your Lemon poha is ready!
