Quarantine Home-made Crispy Snack

Ingredients

Rice flour – 1 kg

Broken Gram Dal – 50 gms

Urad Dal – 50 gms

Sesame seeds – 25 gms

Asafoetida – ¼ spoon

Salt – 2 ½ spoon

Ghee – 50 gms

Vegetable oil – 500 ml

Red chilli – 8 No.s

Method of Preparation

Step 1 – Fry urad dal and red chillies in a frying pan and then grind it.

Step 2 – Fry broken gram dal. Then grind the fried broken gram dal and mix it with above ground ingredients and rice flour.

Step 3 – Add sesame seeds, salt and asafoetida to the mixture, then mix it well.

Step 4 – Heat the ghee and 3 spoons of oil and mix it with the mixture.

Step 5 – Now add water to the mixture then mix it well till the dough become chappati dough consistently.

Step 6 – Heat the remaining oil in the frying pan, then using Presser or Sev Maker put the dough into it and press it into the oil. (Put the fire in medium flame, so that the dough doesn’t get burnt)

Step 7 – After the dough turns golden brown take those out.

Your Quarantine homemade crispy snack is ready!
