Sardine fish – ½ kg
Tamarind Water – 100ml
Sambar Masala – 6 spoons
Turmeric Powder – ½ spoon
Salt – 2 ½ spoons
Big Sized Garlic – 2 No.s
Onion – 1 No.
Tomatoes – 3 No.s
Curry leaves – 2 sticks
Mustard seeds – 1 spoon
Fenugreek seeds – 1 spoon
Vegetable Oil – 100 ml
Method of Preparation
Step 1 – Wash the fish and keep it aside.
Step 2 – Mix tamarind water with sambar masala, salt, and turmeric powder in a bowl and keep it aside.
Step 3 – Take a frying pan, add oil, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, and chopped garlic, then fry it well.
Step 4 – After the ingredients are fried, add the mixed water made in step to this frying pan and stir it well till the curry becomes in thick consistency. Then lid the pan for ½ an hour.
Step 5 – Add the washed fish to the curry, then after the curry boils up switch of the flame.
