Spicy Mutton Gravy

Ingredients

Mutton – 500 gms

Coriander – 4 spoons

Pepper – 1 spoon

Cumin Seeds – 1 spoon

Red Chilli – 10 No.s

Salt – 3 spoon

Cinnamon – 2 No.s

Cloves – 2 No.s

Khas – Khas – 1 spoon

Anise – ½ spoon

Ginger – 1 No.

Coriander leaves – 1 cup

Coconut – ¼

Vegetable Oil – 100 ml

Water – 1 litre

Turmeric Powder – ½ spoon

Onion – 2 No.s

Tomatoes – 2 No.s

Garlic – 1 No.

 Method of Preparation

Step 1 – Wash the mutton and transfer it to a cooker. Add turmeric powder, and water. Let it cook till 3 whistles.

Step 2 – Take a frying pan, add 3 spoons of oil, cinnamon, cloves, khas khas, anise, coriander, pepper, cumin seeds, and red chillies, then fry it well. After frying keep it aside.

Step 3 – Take another frying pan, add chopped onions, a chopped tomato and 1 spoon of oil, then fry it well.

Step 4 – Grind the ingredients which was fried in step 2 and 3 with chopped ginger, grated coconut and coriander leaves.

Step 5 – Chop the remaining onions, tomatoes, and garlic.

Step 6 – Take another frying pan, add chopped onions, and garlic, then saute it. Add tomatoes, remaining oil and boiled mutton to it, then shallow fry it.

Step 7 – Take a cooker add the ground ingredients and fried ingredients in step 6, then close lid. Then cook till 3 whistles.

Your spicy mutton Gravy is ready!
